Block and briquette

Coconut fibre

Blocks and briquettes are hydrated at destination for later use in bulk or mixed with other substrates.

The final expanded volume of blocks and briquettes will be achieved after the input of water and subsequent turning over of the material. The amount of water needed to hydrate the blocks or briquettes is 4.7 litres of water per kilogram of coir. Therefore, 3 litres of water will be needed to hydrate a 650 g briquette and 23 litres of water to hydrate a 5 kg block.
